Patrick Dickie is a London based producer dedicated to opera as a living art form. For over thirty years he has worked closely with composers, directors, designers, writers, conductors, musicians and others to form environments in which new work can flourish, and embrace new audiences.
He has worked in institutions such as the Almeida Theatre, Aldeburgh Festival, English National Opera, the Young Vic and Teatro Naçional São Carlos. He has been focused on how collaborations between music and theatre can be natural and unforced using available resources.
Music theatre as a rich, revelatory experience beyond conventional genre borders.

Recent collaborations include: Lore Lixenberg, Elaine Mitchener, Tom Guthrie, The Clod Ensemble.

His film Vox Pop, an essay film by Tom Guthrie about Renaissance Polyphony in the contemporary world featuring The Tallis Scholars will be completed for release in 2024.
